You have your calendar mapped out and your tactics in place. It’s time to put together your timeline to getting your marketing plan rolling! But do you really know how long it will take? After all, you’re just one person, so you might need some outside help. When is it worth it to hire a freelancer? 

Some calendars have project planning templates built in, but most people have no idea how long things take. Keep in mind, the first time you do anything, it will take at least three times (3x) longer (even if you’re experienced). You need to build in time for setbacks everything from HR issues to budgets to natural disasters.
